Black Beauty Poppy Seeds (Organic)

Black Beauty Poppy brings deep burgundy-purple color to the garden with a mixture of single and double flowers. Some blooms open into broad cups, while others carry layers of ruffled petals, giving a planting varied texture within one rich color palette. The dark flowers make a striking contrast beside softer spring colors and are especially effective planted in a group where their different forms can be appreciated.

This annual breadseed poppy is a choice for gardeners who can give it an early, cool start. Sow in winter or very early spring for flowers in late spring and early summer; waiting until warm weather arrives can shorten its opportunity to grow well. Choose a sunny to partly sunny site, and plan its place before sowing because poppies are best moved only when very young. Each packet contains 200 certified organic seeds.
