Elizabeth Ashley may display pink or blue flowers depending on the pH of the soil. To have Elizabeth Ashley bloom blue, change the pH of the soil to being more acidic. One way to do this is using a more acidic fertilizer. To make Elizabeth Ashley bloom pink, give this hydrangea lime. This will make the pH of the soil more alkaline and will transform the blooms to pink. Elizabeth Ashley was bred by Kolster BV in Holland and introduced by Anthony Hoke.
