Hydrangea quercifolia ‘Alice’, the Alice Oakleaf Hydrangea, is a stunning introduction from Michael Dirr. This mounding shrub grows 68 ft tall and wide, showcasing arching, pyramidal flower panicles up to 14 inches long. Its pure white blooms appear in summer for 68 weeks, gradually aging to soft pink, while large, oak-shaped leaves turn bronze, maroon, and purple in fall, often persisting into winter. Disease-resistant and prized for its spectacular autumn foliage, Alice makes a beautiful, low-maintenance addition to any garden.
